Why cannot we have insurance on Auto Repairs. Where we pay a co-pay (like health insurance) or deductible and the auto shops are regulated by the insurance companies. We would pay more for cars that need more repair. Wouldnt it make automakers more interested in making a better car. I was happy to learn… You can, but you need a company willing to start such an insurance company and it seems this would definitely not be a profitable business unless the premiums were so high, no one would pay them anyway.

I just acquired full coverage insurance through Infinity RSVP for my 3 cars (2001 Ford Expedition, 2005 Chevy AstroVan, and 2006 GMC Sierra). At no point did they ask for photos of the cars, so I just called them and they said it was not required. My concern is that somehow this could be a problem if I ever need to file a claim. Why would an insurance not want photos of a cars' condition before approving coverage. Well, I have your answer. No, not all insurance requires photos. This is not a problem if you need to file a claim. On the other hand, pressuring them to take photos after you are told that there is no need could make them suspicious that you are already planning to file a claim and that would cause problems when you do.

I've 2 cars, I just bought one cash. So I already have full coverage on one car and its paid for 6 months, and I want to add insurance on the other but with a different insurance company because it is cheaper and I'll be getting only liability. Is it legal to be carrying different insurances or are they required to be both with the same company? I live in Texas. I'm planning on canceling with my current when the 6 months is up, because I found one way cheaper. I think I found an answer. Its legal
